Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior visited on Monday, the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX 2016) and the Simulation Training Conference Exhibition. Both events are taking place as part of the activities of the inaugural Abu Dhabi Aviation & Aerospace Week (ADAAW), which runs until 12th March, 2016 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Lt. General Al Sha’far, accompanied by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, toured the different pavilions of the exhibition, including the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion, and a number of international and national exhibitors’ pavilions. He examined the latest innovations of the most prominent manufacturers of remote defense systems and the most important aspects of unmanned aircraft system (UAS) technology uses. He also reviewed the different specifications of the devices, equipment and systems on display at the exhibition, as well as their nature of use for multiple purposes in the defense, security and civil aspects.
