The free LFconnect app is an extension of the LFconnect website, which lets users choose preferred workouts, fitness goals and machine settings from home or on the go and then instantly access customized options at the gym. Available for Apple and Android devices and supported in 11 languages, the app syncs with Life Fitness cardio equipment featuring Engage™ or Discover™ consoles. It’s also compatible with in-home Life Fitness cardio machines featuring a Track console and the Life Fitness Platinum Club Series line.
When plugged into compatible equipment, the LFconnect app displays a "calories burned” meter that fills up in real time. Exercisers can create workout routines, pre-program machine settings or download a workout "shared” via a professional personal trainer using the app. Afterwards, exercisers’ statistics are automatically saved.
