A delegation from the Ministry of the Interior; headed by Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior; Vice Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016) visited the Korea International Safety & Security Expo 2015 (K-Safety Expo 2015), which was recently held at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), in Seoul-South Korea.
Major General Al Raisi, Head of the delegation, said that the visit comes within the ongoing preparations to organize the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016) and to invite international companies to participate in the exhibition in its next edition scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi from 15 – 17 March 2016, which showcases the latest equipment, devices and technologies in internal security, prevention and safety and in the fight against cyber crime.
During their visit to the Exhibition, Major General Al Raisi, and the accompanying delegation met with Lee Seong-ho, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Safety; Mr. Myung-Soo Lee, Director of the Disaster and Safety Sector at the Ministry of Security and Public safety, the organizer of the K-Safety Expo, and a number of Korean security officials. During the meetings, the parties discussed a number of topics of mutual concern and ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two sides in various security fields.
The delegation toured the exhibition’s different pavilions, notably the pavilions of the participating international companies specialized in the security products and equipment manufacturing. The delegation was briefed on the state-of-the-art and advanced technical devices showcased by the companies in the field of security and safety.
The Ministry of Interior’s delegation included Dr. Jassim Ibrahim Al Mansouri; Colonel Saif Al Shamesi; Major Barqan Ahmed; Captain Khalifa Abdullah Al Obaidli; Captain Ismail Al Hammadi, members of the Organizing Committee of the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016). The delegation was accompanied by Nicky Dawson, from Reed Exhibitions.
