MoI Urges Travelers to Avail of the E-Gate Service Advantages


ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, January 14th 2015 [ME NewsWire]

The Ministry of Interior called upon individuals already registered in the Electronic Ports’ Project [e-gate], to avail of the many advantages provided by the service, which facilitates speedy travel procedures across the country’s various ports.

These remarks will be included in the radio address by Major Mohammad Al Zaabi, Director of the E-Port Project at the Ministry of Interior, which will broadcast live on Thursday.  It falls in line with the ‘Security Glances’ Campaign organized by the Radio Branch at the Security Media Department, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Major Al Zaabi indicated that the E-Gate System is recognized as the most efficient and advanced program in the world from a technical, operational and security integration aspect and ensures the highest standards of safety and security to all passengers.

He added that all community segments and their families, including UAE and GCC nationals, residents, and visitors who have an entry visa can avail of the many advantages of the E-Gate service, which facilitates speedy travel procedures when entering and leaving the country across the various ports.
