A group of the Police Friends Program from Al Bawadi Primary School for Boys (C-1) visited the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior.
The students were welcomed by Major Fawaz Ali, Chief of the Government Communication and Media Support Section; Captain Ibrahim Al Bateh, Chief of the Media Documentation Section; and Abdullah Shahin, Media Expert and Press Branch Manager. The visit comes as part of the cooperation initiatives of the Abu Dhabi Police for building relationships with community institutions.
Major Fawaz Ali accompanied the students in a tour of the department’s sections and branches, where they were briefed on the tasks and objectives of the security media and its role to empower the feeling of safety and trust, earn community satisfaction, and to raise the sophistication of media awareness via comprehensive and effective communication.
For his part, social worker Abdullah Basalib from Al Bawadi Primary School for Boys lauded the Abu Dhabi Police initiatives that are designed for students of all ages, and for their efforts to educate them in topics of security. Basalib praised the witnessed media developments and high-levels of professionalism.
