Abu Dhabi Police Win for Second Consecutive Time

His Highness Lt. General Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, reviewed the Best Government Authority Award for upgrading the services in Abu Dhabi, an award won by the Abu Dhabi Police for the second consecutive time.
A team from the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ) presented the award to His Highness, who also reviewed a presentation regarding the efforts of the Administrative Operations Section at the Department made in the development and modernization of the provided services. His Highness congratulated the winning team for their achievement, and urged them to continue in their pursuit of excellence in police work and in the provision of the best services for the community.
Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said: “This achievement comes as an embodiment of the directives of the police leadership, and is a translation of the vision of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ to work effectively; so that Abu Dhabi becomes one of the safest and most secure places.”
He pointed to the keenness of the leadership to provide and continuously upgrade high-quality police services to the community; contribute to achieving security, stability, and justice; improve the quality of performance and elevate the work to the highest levels; and to foster the public trust in the police.
Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Strategy and Performance Development, emphasized the importance of the award won by the Department with the participation from the various governmental bodies and departments in Abu Dhabi. He said that the award serves as an incentive for the staff members of Abu Dhabi Police who work on the system to further enhance the services provided to the public and to achieve continuous improvement in order to embody the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
Colonel Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Deputy Director of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior, stated that the provision of the highest quality is a fundamental pillar for the process of strategic planning at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. He also noted that customer satisfaction is both a strategic value and goal in all of the initiatives put forth by the Abu Dhabi Police, based on the aim to make the UAE one of the best countries in the world by 2021.
