Serafina Dubai at Souk Al Bahar is proud to unveil FEED Love, dedicating itself to inspiring love and connecting with people around the world on an emotional level. FEED Love will be seeded through all channels and across all markets globally.
“The idea for FEED Love grew from our quest to find a universally inspiring emotion that could be shown and felt. Love is by far the most powerful and most positive. It is very important for us to evoke positivity with FEED Love. From the moment you walk into Serafina, we want it to captivate your imagination; to take you on a journey into the world of love, where you will be enchanted by its countless dimensions,” says Claire Harris, Marketing Manager Serafina, Dubai.
“I think love is important for everyone, and there are different kinds of love. For example, love for food is what inspired us to open our first restaurant and that is why we commissioned artist Michela Martello to paint our own love sign. You can find these signs already in three Continents: Asia, North and South America. On a personal note, I actually found love in Serafina, where I met my wife” said Serafina Co-Founder, Vittorio Assaf.
Artist Michela Martello says “Love and food are the basics to nourish body and soul. It was in collaboration with Fabio Granato who wanted the word “love” on the wall and I visualized the sign made with hands. I wanted to create unique artwork for each culture, respecting Serafina brand and merging with the culture of each location”.
Michela continues “In Dubai for instance Vittorio suggested using the henna painting and I thought it was very appropriate. Painting the LOVE sign represents the best pure symbolic way to express a universal message in a venue where Italian food is essentially at its best”.
Kick starting the Global Campaign, Serafina Dubai has introduced an interactive Social Media campaign that will allow people to share love from around the world, to the world, 24-7. No matter where you are in the world send a picture of yourself creating one of the letters of LOVE with your hands and FEED hashtag #FEEDlove.
“We try to transmit love in our restaurants. People see the word ‘love’ and it catches their attention. Love of life and food--they go together. We want it to show and spread the energy. It is a good reminder that love is real and love exists. To FEED the world ‘love’ through Serafina is beautiful,” concluded Fabio Granato, Serafina Co-Founder.
Following the success of the first Serafina restaurant, Vittorio and Fabio have gone on to open six more Serafina locations in NYC: Serafina Fabulous Grill, Serafina Osteria, Serafina Broadway, Serafina at The Time Hotel, Serafina Upper Westside and Serafina Meatpacking. Other U.S. locations include: Serafina Philadelphia, Serafina East Hampton and Serafina White Plains while Serafina Boston will open in 2015. Internationally, the group has a three locations in Brazil, three in India, two in Japan, two in South Korea and two in Turkey as well a location in Dubai while Serafina Puerto Rico will open in 2015. Future international endeavors include Manilla, London, Buenos Aires and more locations in Brazil, India, Japan and Turkey.
