The Al Ain Police Officers Club recently organized a two-day health education program in cooperation with Al Waha hospital. The program included several health awareness activities, in a bid to build a culture of health amongst Abu Dhabi Police’s staff members and customers.  

As a part of the program, comprehensive medical check-ups were conducted to measure blood pressure and blood sugar levels, as well as Breath carbon monoxide tests, and body mass index (BMI) tests. The tests were carried out under the supervision of a specialized medical staff.  

The campaign embodies the commitment of the Abu Dhabi Police to spread health education and proper nutrition amongst its staff members and customers. ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Saturday, January 31st 2015 [ME NewsWire]

According to statistics, the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi has completed as many as 2,131,936 transactions via its online system Fawri since the application was put into service in 2012. Out of these transactions, 1,203,922 services were completed in 2014 compared to 843,858 transactions in 2013, marking an increase of 43%.
