For the quarter, reported diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was $0.68 and reported operating income from continuing operations was $58 million. (TOKYO:7272)(ISIN:JP3942800008) announced today that in the first half of the fiscal year ending December 31, 2016, motorcycle business income in emerging markets rose thanks to improvements in product mix and cost reductions. Strong earnings were achieved despite a fall in net sales value due to unit sales declines in countries including Indonesia and Brazil.
