The Community Police Department at the Abu Dhabi Police took part in the Search and Rescue Exhibition 2015, which was held on the sidelines of the INSARAG Global Meeting on Search and Rescue organized by the Ministry of Interior at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from October 18 to October 21.
Major Yusuf Fara, Deputy Director of the Community Police Department noted that the Community Police provided a community awareness pavilion at the exhibition held by the Directorate General of Civil Defense. “This initiative falls in line with the general strategy of the Abu Dhabi Police, aimed at introducing the public to Community Police and its duties. It also highlights its community-based partnerships with partners in residential neighborhoods, which significantly contribute to promote the sense of security and safety amongst citizens and residents alike,” he said.
It is worth mentioning that the Community Police Pavilion witnessed a significant turnout of visitors, who were keen to acquire the awareness-raising brochures distributed by the Community Police officers. Moreover, the public were acquainted with the various topics related to the work mechanism of the community police officers.
