The Police College in Abu Dhabi received the 30th batch of recruits. Colonel Saif Ali Al Ketbi, Police College Director greeted the new students upon their arrival, along with several heads of departments, a number of officers and training staff.

An Arab national was killed and 7 Asians sustained minor injuries in a traffic accident, which took place on Sunday morning, due to the low visibility during fog. According to Colonel Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Deputy Head of the Capital’s Traffic Department, Traffic and Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police, the accident, which took place on Abu Dhabi-Sila road, involved a bus transporting workers and a truck trailer.

Investigations are still underway to determine the circumstances of the accident.
