The Khalifa Student Empowerment Program, Aqdar, will be holding a press conference on Sunday at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ), to announce the UAE celebrations schedule marking the Safer Internet Day, celebrated globally under the theme “Lets Create a Better Internet Together”.
Colonel Expert Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al Dabal, General Coordinator of the Khalifa Student Empowerment Program, revealed that a number of officials will be speaking at the press conference. According to Colonel Al Dabal, speakers will tackle the endeavors aimed at standardizing awareness efforts about the risks and dangers of internet misuse; and children’s safety on the Internet. They will also be discussing the set of procedures and measures that would enhance protection and strengthen cooperation between all segments of society.
During the press conference, the events’ program will be announced, and will include an array of purposeful activities to be organized on the countrywide level, with the participation of more than 35 government institutions and organization in the private sector.
