TOKYO-Thursday 25 November 2021 [ AETOS Wire ]

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- London, New York, Tokyo, Paris and Singapore once again emerged in that order as the world’s most comprehensively attractive cities in the Global Power City Index (GPCI) 2021 report. This report is published by The Mori Memorial Foundation’s Institute for Urban Strategies, a research body established by Mori Building, a leading urban developer in Tokyo. The GPCI-2021 did not show any significant changes in the top cities' rank, but the citywide lockdowns, travel restrictions, behavioral restrictions, and changes in work styles associated with the COVID-19 epidemic since early 2020 affected various indicators. This resulted in a marked impact on the dynamics of target cities.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates-Monday 29 November 2021 [ AETOS Wire ]

 $50 million upgrade enables the entire Eastern Province export market to ship through Jubail port

Gulf Stevedoring Contracting Company (GSCCO), part of the Gulftainer group of companies, has announced enhancements to Jubail Commercial Port. With the completed upgrades, the port now has the capacity to process 1.8 million twenty-foot containers (TEU's) per year.

By increasing export volumes in Jubail, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia exporters will have the ability to directly reduce carbon emissions. According to the World Economic Forum, moving cargo by truck accounts for approximately 25 percent of global transport emissions. Although 60 percent of containers processed by cargo operators in the Jubail region are currently moved via the port, the remaining 40 percent is transported via the Dammam highway.
